GILLSVILLE - Gregory Scott Fields, Gillsville, died peacefully at the Veranda of Carnesville on Monday, April 15, 2024.

He was “best all around”. At the end of a day’s work, it was important to Greg to sit down and reminiscence about the day and enjoy looking at the sunset with Nan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nan Chambers, whom he referred to as “his sweet precious darling-love of his life.” Greg is also survived by his son, Josh Fields (Shasta); granddaughters, Cora and Olivia Fields; grandson, Jake Dalton; step-daughter, Brooke Adams; brother, Bobby Fields (Nancy); sister, Becky Johnson (Greg); nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
